Mr. Oluwakemi Adekunle Uthman Pinheiro, SAN, holds the coveted rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Member of the Institute of Directors in the United Kingdom and past Non-Executive Director in National Bank of Nigeria.
Kemi Pinheiro’s professional career, which spans over thirty years, includes employment in both the public and private sectors. He held several positions within the Lagos State Government as State Counsel in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution and the Office of Director, Civil Litigation as well as Special Assistant in the office of Lagos State Attorney General/Commissioner for Justice from 1996 to 1997. He further diversified his legal occupation in the private sector with tenures in the firms of Rhodes & Rhodes and as Senior Counsel with Abiola Oshodi & Company.
In 1996, Mr. Kemi Pinheiro, SAN, established PINHEIRO LP to provide multi-faceted legal services built on the pillars of trust, professionalism and excellence to individuals, corporations. Pinheiro LP also collaborates with the Nigerian Federal Government agency – The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to address rampant corruption by bringing offenders to justice. He is passionately committed to the eradication of corruption in Nigeria and he vigorously campaigns and champions causes to rid Nigeria of this inauspicious behaviour whilst instilling discipline into the polity. He also dedicated to eradicating injustice, upholding integrity and advocating for the rights of the vulnerable in Nigeria.
Mr. Kemi Pinheiro is a founding member of the Live Abundantly!® Board of Trustees’, an organisation intentionally ardent on investing in the community and promoting positive positive social change™. He believes strongly in addressing the inequality which permeates society and prevents the progress of the nation particularly women and children affected by poverty. He supports the adoption of skills programmes which provide women with limited education a chance to access the economic sphere in order to enhance the quality of their lives and that of their offspring. Furthermore, he provides scholarships for promising students from challenging socio-economic backgrounds, at all educational levels, an opportunity to excel academically and socially in order to contribute to society through community involvement and leadership.
