Live Abundantly is the catalyst to living a meaningful and fulfilling life, I am blown away by the work being done through the podcasts and various youth programs.

Mrs. Ngozi Ezi-Ashi began her successful career in the Non-governmental (NGO) sector over thirty years ago. She was an administrative officer at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and thereafter served as the pioneer programme assistant at the Ford Foundation’s Office-West Africa. At Ford Foundation, she effectively demonstrated her passion and dedication to strengthening and building the institutional capacities of the organisations which could effectively contribute to nation building.

In 1999, she founded Development Alternatives and Resource Center (DARC) to serve as a platform to strengthen and build NGO management and programming capacities. Over the years, DARC’s work has effectively supported Nigerian NGOs in the areas of board development, succession planning, financial management, fundraising, endowment planning and leadership development. DARC has also fielded sectoral initiatives that have strengthened work in the micro-finance industry, adolescent reproductive health, culture and heritage development, human rights and governance.

As the Executive Director of DARC, Ngozi has worked with both international and local donors including Ford Foundation, the World Bank, Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP), Department of International Development (DFID), Partnership for Transparency Fund (PTF) Washington DC, International Labour Organization (ILO), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), National Democratic institute (NDI) and MTN Foundation amongst others. DARC has also diversified its capacity building programs to include the micro-finance, private and public sectors in Nigeria.

Mrs. Ngozi Ezi-Ashi joined the prestigious Live Abundantly!® Board of Trustees in November 2021 with a strong commitment to heightening the ethos of the organisation through developing Environmental Social Governance (ESG) with businesses, and ensuring the sustainability and visibility of the mission on a global scale. She is an ardent humanitarian who understands the importance of giving for the social good of the community and the larger society.
